How stupid is it that the President in on TV talking about the ridiculous birther issue?

He should have stayed silent and let the crazies keep propagating their nonsense. This issue was put to rest long ago and the birthers have just looked like nuts for a few years now. Though I somehow suspect that some of them will continue to talk about it and they will look even crazier.
